Scope of These Terms and Basic Definitions

Whenever you visit fortuna-promo.cz, the rules set out in this document apply. They describe the relationship between visitors and the operator of the site. The project is independent, focuses on the Fortuna brand and, besides information, also offers affiliate links.

Definitions

  1. Website: the content published under the domain fortuna-promo.cz.
  2. User: any visitor, whether a natural or a legal person, including anyone who makes use of the content in another way.
  3. Affiliate link: a click-through to a gambling operator or one of its business partners, for which the website operator may receive a commission.

Contact for the website operator: contact@fortuna-promo.cz.

Informational Nature of the Website

Binding rules for playing are always issued by the gambling operator. For the Fortuna brand this is FORTUNA GAME a.s., IČO 43003575, Italská 2584/69, 120 00 Praha 2, a company holding a licence from the Czech Ministry of Finance. The company can be looked up in the MF ČR Whitelist, the list of licensed operators.

fortuna-promo.cz, by contrast, is an independent source of information. It publishes overviews, reviews and news on online gambling with an emphasis on the Fortuna brand, but it does not run any gambling, and its operator is not a gambling operator under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling. It is not possible to create a player account, deposit funds, play or verify identity here. The content serves for information only.

Rules for Reusing Content

What applies to the website's content:

  • What is protected: texts, graphics, structure, databases and source code.
  • Under which law: zákon č. 121/2000 Sb., the Copyright Act, as amended.
  • What is allowed: use for personal purposes.
  • What needs consent: any other use, mainly distribution, copying and modification; the consent must be given in writing and in advance.

The Fortuna trademarks are owned by their proprietor. The website operator holds no rights to them, mentions them only descriptively to identify the brand and products, and their use creates no relationship between the operator and the trademark proprietor.

Check Information at the Source

Before you decide anything on the basis of information from the website, verify it in official sources, ideally directly with the gambling operator. Users are required to do so because:

  • the content of the website is informational only and is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice;
  • although the website operator makes reasonable efforts to keep details accurate and current, it cannot ensure that they will always be up to date, complete and error-free.

The website's responsibility also has these limits: it is not responsible for the content and availability of third-party pages that links lead to, for the offers and terms of the gambling operator, or for harm or loss arising from the use of information or services of third parties. In the user's relationship with the gambling operator, the website operator does not act as a contracting party.

Age Limit of 18

  • Content relating to gambling is meant only for people older than 18.
  • The user confirms that they meet this age requirement.
  • Persons below this age are prohibited from using the website.

In connection with Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, we display the following warning: “The Ministry of Finance warns: Participation in gambling may lead to addiction.” 18+

Personal Data and Cookies

When processing personal data, the website follows these rules:

Which data the website processes, why, to what extent and in what way, including the rules for cookies under § 89 of zákon č. 127/2005 Sb., is described in detail in the personal data protection policy.

Consumer Disputes and Governing Law

A consumer may exercise the right to out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, website www.adr.coi.cz. Information from the European Commission on online dispute resolution is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Legal relationships linked to the use of the website are governed by the Czech legal order, in particular the Civil Code and other applicable legal regulations. The general court of the website operator in the Czech Republic decides any disputes.

Changes to the Rules for Using the Website

The website operator has the right to change or supplement the terms unilaterally, at any time. For users, this means:

  1. a change takes effect at the moment of its publication on the website,
  2. the current wording needs to be read on an ongoing basis,
  3. continued use of the website after a change constitutes agreement with the new wording.
